Whenever I'm on my period I use tampons. I absolutely HATE pulling out my tampon though. Every time I pull it out I feel like I'm being fucked by a sandpaper dildo. Just last night I swear I was raped by my tampon, it hurts like a mofo trying to pull it out. So am I doing something wrong? Is it normal for it to hurt so much?

    How long do you keep them in there?

    Another option would be to switch to pads.

    Just relax when you do it...in fact, better try to push it out while you pull the string.I suggest you do it after you pee and make sure it's soaked :)

    Ehmm it shouldnt hurt as much as that but the
    First 4/5 times you use one it hurts if i was you
    I would uses towels ouch...
