I rly hate it when they say things like
"all asians like math" or "all hispanics are mexicans" or even "asians are bad drivers" Just pisses me off to no end.
My friends call me mexican and black even though i don't have a trace of black in me and I'm SPAIN spanish. theres a bIG DIFFERENCE! and on top of it i'm in an all white school so its kind of awkward. I'm a really light complexion though so thank the lord, it still gets to me though D:
Yea it's stereotyping. It is annoying but can be funny if said in the right context and in good taste. But I'd say what u feeling is normal
I think that is totally normal but to be honest there is a pattern I do notice a lot. So instead of people saying "All ___ like ___" or ect. Just be like "I have noticed that _____ is really good at ______, I wonder if it has something to do with their culture." I've noticed that there is a pattern that will follow certain predictions.
It's just like the more you practice the more likely you will do better.

Since Asians support studying and dedication then it is more likely that they will take their studies seriously and do well in academic studies like sciences or mathematics.

i agree completely. i can't STAND generalizations. not everyone is the same.
I'm asian and I hate math, but I enjoy physics ;o... Can't say my driving is all that great though.
They say in childhood education that you shouldn't use generalizations like that with kids. Teaches them only a black and white perspective when there is always a grey area to every situation
