This really pisses me off for some reason. When somebody describes me as innocent and kind because I don't gossip, respond to insults and other shit like that, when I really just don't care enough to say anything.
I know exactly what you mean. All through high school people called me sweet and innocent and it pissed me off. Fine I'm nice and mature but innocent? C'mon innocence has nothing to do with it. I'm just not a total jackass like some people try so hard to be just to seem cool.
yeah, that happens to me at school. people at my school talk about really pervertive stuff, and its horrible. they treat me like im five and do things like cover my ears when they say things i bet they heard from other arrogant teenagers.
i totally feel the same way. i've never done anything to others but they keep on saying that i'm too nice or acting nice when i have no care about them or whatsoever. i'm not sure if it's normal. sorry bout that
Yeah it's normal. People tie innocent with unknowing and that what pisses you off.
That's what used to piss me off.
I understand. Who knows why they think your innocent - I would ask the next person who calls you that to explain why.
I get called innocent because I haven't smoked weed or had alcohol before, I have no interest in these things why does that make me innocent?
I get that a lot. People think i'm all innocent and young for my age. This puzzles (and somewhat distresses) me as it means nobody takes me seriously and I always have to "prove" myself to be accepted. I recon it has something to do with my foreign accent (foreign to the people concerned as I am english and living in Belgium). Kinda annoying as I don't regard myself as a particularly innocent person. Anyway...
I feel the same way. My family thinks I'm very innocent for a twenty-something, but even though I enjoy a lot of things that are meant for people younger than I am, my mind is actually very dirty because I also think about sexual things most of the time.
i have pretty much the opposite thing , i moved to England from Estonia .
In school everyone thought i was Russian and because i was never afraid to stand up to bullies or dickheads everyone now is kind of saying stuff like "Don't mess with him" and "he's could batter you...."
Anyway i think it is fucking horrible , I would've preferred a life where i go to school and i'm like invisible but now everyone fucking knows me and school is like a fucking drag.
So the people don't understand you.
It's normal for males not to care enough to comment although few women can hold their own water in, never mind criticism.
