Its good to try new things, you'd be surprised at what you might like. I love trying new foods. Being picky sucks
Haha I'm the same way. Like lettuce, Iv never had it and I refuse to try it.
Obviously you did not eat right as a kid due to being allowed to get out of trying new foods! You have to acquire a taste for many foods. It can take several tries before your taste buds are no longer startled. A variety of foods are necessary for healthy body, so you must have been shortchanged. Too bad.
" A variety of foods are necessary for healthy body," healthy has changed in meaning in the last decade, so thats no longer true, u can only eat whatever u want, if u counted cal and had a daily vitamin and u`d be healthy by today reasoning
@opener yep i do that to, even tho i havnt tasted the most resent mc-trash meal, i can tell u i wont like it, same goes with "diet" or "no-fat" foods(expect 1/2 fat icecream)
To be fair, there are some things we just know we won't like because of the mental image it conjures. It would take a huge amount of persuasion to get me to eat insects even though many humans eat them happily and lots of humans eat them unknowingly. Most Americans have eaten insects because any American food which has "non-animal protein" as an ingredient actually includes insect protein. It's a sneaky euphemism because most Americans wouldn't like to eat insects either!
