Is it normal i hang out with my dad most weekends?

Okay so here's the deal, I'm a 17 year old male who hangs out with my dad every weekend because my parents are divorced, we work on cars, smoke, and go out to eat and play video games. I never see anybody my age out in public and I don't think other kids my age hang out with their parents as much as me. I have lots of SCHOOL friends but only a couple I hang out with outside of school like going to the gym. Thanks for responding!
