Is it normal i got mistaken for a dog (once)?

Happened at on of my previous jobs when I was washing at a cafe and went down on all four to wash the window frames at floor level. Some old lady apparently thought I was a dog, but it was her husband (I think) that told me

    I wouldn't worry about it. She probably saw you out of the corner of her eye,and you were down on your hands and knees.

    Old people lose their filter. They dgaf and that's why I like them. Honest people that. Well I cant tell you how you look like a dog because I can't see u. But its probably the old ladies vision going
