The other day, I was hanging out with a girl. It was cold and she neglected to bring a jacket. I took mine off and offered it to her. She smiled and it was apparent she wanted me to actually put it on her, so I got behind her and did. When she put her arm through the sleeve on the side I was on, she ran her hand down my arm. Later, she put her hand on my hip and kissed me on the cheek out of nowhere, then asked if I was doing anything else that day. This made me feel very socially awkward. I made up an excuse about the stove, quickly went home, cancelled all my phone contracts, deleted my Facebook, made a new email account, moved to another state, and changed my name. Was this the correct reaction?

    It'd be weird if a guy brought his daughter into the change room and you were naked and rubbing one out, or squatting and taking a shit in the middle of the floor, about a foot away from the drain so the poo juices begin running across the floor over to it. At that point one of the daughters runs across and slips on the poo juice and hits the wall, at which point the father runs to help, but you pounce on the situation and throw your shit at him, splattering it on his face... Then while he's blinded to kick his kid in the back and smash a chair over his chest... That wouldn't be normal, don't even think of doing that.

    I think its a little dramatic and extreme for you to act that way about it. You actually moved to another state? I'm with alv1592, you went a bit too far. Maybe its time you speak with a professional about this little problem. Its normal to feel awkward sometimes, but you really didn't have to go through all the trouble of canceling your phone contracts, getting rid of your facebook, and leaving the state, etc. Its a little much.
