Is it normal i get drunk every night just so i can sleep?

So a lot of stuff has been going on in my head lately so I go buy some wine every night and drink a 750ml bottle every night just so I can sleep. I've tried going to sleep without but my mind just runs wild. Is it normal?

The hooch treatment works for me. Much more fun than tea and a bath.

aww love, im sorry. you should start drinking lavender tea and having hot bubble baths before bed. that will help relax you. even a good relaxation cd can help.

One of my favorite parts of getting drunk is sleeping like a baby! Try exercise as a natural alternative to get good rest.

I can't sleep either! My doctor gave me anti-histimines that are for hayfever but have the side effect of making you tired. I took one and was exhausted for 3 days!! Never again!! But don't become dependent on alcohol or you may become an alcoholic.

i used to do this too (though not nearly as much you) but damn the heart burn in the morning. i had to let the wine go and switch to pills. then i finally realized that i'm basically an insomniac. now, i don't really fight it anymore.

It's normal that your mind does that and it's normal that you found a way to cope. It's a very unhealthy way though..

You need exercise and reading before bed. Also ocassional natural melatonine an hour before bed helps.

    STAY OFF THE ALCOHOL!!!!
