Its just your eyes adjusting and there may even be medical explanation
You might have genes where your pupils dont dilate quick enough, so takes in too much light at the time
If you have green eyes then light will be a bit more glaring to you than it is for others.
If not maybe you just stay inside too much.
What's your eye color? Different iris colors may effect how sensitive your eyes are to light.
Blue, green and grey eyes are the most common type of eye color to have sensitivity to light.
