Is it normal i feel so uncomfortable around members of the same sex?

ok to cut a long story short I've been interested in members of the same sex(females) since i was 11 and naturally presumed that this meant i'm gay.But when i was 17 i fell in love with a guy and we've been very happy together for almost four years now.(So i now presume I'm on the gay side of bi).

I share most of my attitudes,mannerisms,hobbies,etc with guys so naturally all my friends are male.I tend to feel at ease when talking to women who have a tomboy side but really akward around most girly women.Is it normal that i feel as though i'm speaking to the opposite sex when i speak to girly women and feel like i'm talking to the same sex around guys?
