Is it normal i feel pity for severus snape?
Is it normal if I feel pity for Snape? Up until book 7, I thought he was an inconsiderate douchebag. But then we saw into his past and I felt sad.

Snape is one of the best written, sophisticated and mysterious characters of the book. You shouldn't pity him, that would diminish him as a character. :)
Severus Snape. Potions master at Hogwarts, head of Slytherin and my favourite character. He actually proves quite a lot of things to us in life. A lot that I can't explain because-too soon.
Like you, I always thought Snape was the villain in Harry Potter ever since I read the first few lines about him in the book. But my feeling towards him changed as I read through the other books. At the end, when he dies, I was crying like crazy (watching the movie here) like crying until my face was literally a pool of tears.
So yeah, I respect what you think!
Is It Normal? Obviously it is!
He meets Lily at the age of 9, he falls in love with her at the age of 9, she likes him and regrets James Potter bcause of his imaturity, James Potter and Syrius Black bullys him since he enters in Hogwarts, he completely out of his mind insult Lily calling her mudblood( not his intention), he asks for apologyse a thousand times, Lily never acept the apologyze him and starts to date with James( who finaly got some maturity), Severus joins the death eaters and Voldmort, when he knows Voldmort is going to kill her he asks Dumbledore to help her, but its too late, James and Lily are murdered, which makes he think in waning to die( because of Lily´s death and because she never forgive him), he then joins the order of fenix and says to Dumbledore he will protect Harry Potter(and he will, but always hidden), years later Dumbledore starts to say to Severus that Severus must kill him, and after Dumbledore kill and in the end of the 7th book its reaveled that he always liked Harry and his mother, and in the time he is dying( Nagini bite), he asks Harry one last thing to look into his eyes so that he could see Lily´s eyes one last time. And finaly dies.
Dude you should not be pitty of him, you should be sad for him, I am really sad for his death and for his life, and you should be sad too.
I loved him all the way through-when he turned out to actually be a good guy my mind exploded with joy.
And then bitter sadness when he died :'(
Yeah you kind of resent him up until the seventh book! Nice to know there are other potter nerds here :)
He was always my favourate charater in the Harry Potter seris. I knew from the start he was going to be something important!
He's always been my fav character actually...
I cried when he (and Dumbledore) died LOL
TEAM SNAPE(:
poor snape..like the woman he loved married his most hated classmate. then she died. and he was helping his son and he had to see lily's eyes everyday to the boy which had the face of the man he despised.
phew. he needs a therapist. but seriously i love him. (:
I felt sympathy too but I always liked Snape regardless! :D In school cause I dyed my hair black, my friends called me Snape as well, so I deffo have a Sev Snape fondness.
omg dumbledore didnt tell him to kill kim because he was dying omg snape killed him because malfoy couldnt do it, i have read the last book andi know there is some sad sap story about snape but i dont feel any more sorry for him
i do not feel sorry for snape in the least little bit, HE KILLS DUMBLEDORE!!!!,and has lied to him for years, he is still a death eater, i do have to admit i felt a little pitty for him when it went into his past but he is still a lying murderer
