Is it normal i feel i can't be friends with asians

I speak Japanese and english bilingually, i have Japanese ancestry in me. However, i don't look 100% japanese at all. I want to be friends with different cultures from the world, because i don't want to be limited..but i don't understand..i feel so hated because of my mostly white heritage. It saddens me to not be able to befriend someone because of my race. is it normal i feel this way?

To be honest i have heard the Japanese can be pretty racist.

But I don't get why that would apply to all Asians. I am pale as a sheet of paper white and I have tons of Chinese and Vietnamese friends, my ethnicity has never been an issue.

Don't worry about it. Prejudices are limited to the individual; there are other out there who don't have them.

I'm sure that doesn't apply to all, some people are just narrow minded

Yes, it's normal. I have heard that some people of certain races do not take kindly to mixed individuals but this prejudice is not localized to the Japanese culture. Don't worry so much about what others think of you, you can't help whether or not they like you =/
