Is it normal i feel 80's rock should have a comeback?

Okay so if no one has noticed yet a lot of things from the 80's is trying to make comebacks such as snapbacks, leggings, ect. And all these modern artists are making remakes of 80's pop songs and such. So why can't hard rock come back into the picture? I wish that there would be more music like guns and roses, ac/dc, etc. Instead of all these songs that don't even use instruments or even vocals now(auto tune). I guess I just want to see some real natural talent to come back into the world...

What the fuck man? Only the 00s top the 80s in the shittiest popular music category. At least now more indie bands are getting popular.

Oh my gosh! YES. Especially 80's British rock (i.e. The Smiths, The Cure, Depeche Mode, etc.)

I agree. Real music should have a comeback. I hate autotuned stuff.

    HELL YEAH!
The metyal from 1983 or 1984 until about 1992 or 1993 was absolutely the best.
    What made it so different?
    Let's look.
    -No Auto-tune.
-(to borrow a phrase from Jack Black in the movie School of Rock) "Face-melting Guitar Solos."
-The subject matter of the music was primarily about partying, sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll, basically having a great time.
-Happy music (Not depressing music) as a result of the subject matter.
-It differs from band to band, but there was some real talent, nothing digital to make it sound absolutely perfect, with some exceptions.
-Rock Stars were happy to be rock stars. The problem I had most with Grunge and Alternative bands and rock stars was the apathy and pseudo depression and sarcasm.
This stuff matters and it is reflected in the music.

The sad part is so much of that music is virtually lost now. I have to go to very specialized dealers to buy stuff to fill out my collection these days. The music is old enough it could be played on classic rock radio channels but isn't because they play stuff from the 1970's (which isn't bad; but gets old when it is a cookie-cutter, run-of-the-mill, top 40 music radio channel,) but it is not yet considered classic enough for it to start reappearing on store shelves, iTunes, mp3's or what-have-you as classic rock music yet.

The bands that came out in like 1989 and 1990 got the raw end of the deal as it were, because by 1993 or 1994, the tastes shifted towards grunge and alternative just as they were hitting it. I remember when it happened.

Some of the finest cream of the crop in 1980's metal was the very early 1990's, just at the end of the genre. Bands of that time are virtually lost and unheard of now: BulletBoys, FireHouse, Ugly Kid Joe, Trixter, Dangerous Toys, Warrant, Slaughter, Skid Row, there are at least a dozen more I could name.

no 90's is second to 80's cuz punk was in the 80's. but grunge and alt are thr shit too. i want punk to come back though so people dont look at me like fuck off hipster. yes i have gotten that remark cuz of my less-than-mainstream music taste.
