Is it normal i fall 'in love' very easily?

I always seem to fall for men who are unavaliable or taken.

Whenever a guy acts in a compassionate or even just a vaguely nice way I tend to fall for them. They are always unavaliable people, normally in a relationship.

A few months ago I got in contact with somebody i used to know from my college. We were out in a club when we met unexpectedly, he was single and so was I. He asked for my phone number, but due to the amount i'd had to drink i couldn't remember it. A few months later we were speaking again, and we exchanged numbers. After a few weeks of flirting he told me he'd got a girlfriend after going to uni. We carried on flirting and chatting but it seems to have stopped lately. I was wondering if it is normal to fall for people like this? and if it is normal for me to be in this situation?

    Sounds more like attraction/infatuation rather than actual love if anything.

    Infatuation often times mimics actual love. Chances are, you're one of those people like likes a challenge, the chase is better than the catch so to speak. You like having to work for it and have a hard time separating your real feelings from attraction/infatuation. You're going to have to quit with that and just carry on with your own life, you will eventually find someone.

    He probably stopped with the flirting because he developed stronger feelings towards his girlfriend, thus intensifying his loyalty towards her and reducing his urge to be disloyal to her. I would say that you should leave him alone and not flirt with men that are already in a relationship. If you continue to do this you will either piss some chick off or the guy will leave the chick he is with to be with you and treat you in the same manner when he finds a newer catch.
