Yeah, just relax - text the same way you talk in a conversation. No need to over-think it. You ask the odd question, answer the odd question, when the conversation reaches a conclusion (you run out of things to say or have to go do something) make your excuses. It's better to seem comfortable and confident than desperate.

If you think you're being boring when texting, just ask her if she wants to meet up in real life.

First of all, do not use 'mysterious beauties' ever again. Woman have a lot more to them than just a pretty face.
It's always good to ask how they are, out of politeness. But the only thing I think you are missing here is not having anything in common with these women you have been texting. Find a woman who you KNOW you have things in common, and then proceed to text her. If you know she likes to read, ask about books and authors. If she likes films, ask about films, actors and directors. If she's into sport, ask her about that. Remember, you have to be into the topic too so you can hold an intelligent, decent conversation!
Having common interests is the best way to hold conversation. It opens doors to deeper conversation, chemistry and maybe a chance of romance.

If you're stuck for topics to chat about then find out what her interests are and ask her about them. Ask her for advice on clothes, or a tattoo. Nothing serious, because she's probably going to show her friends what you've written. Make her feel like her views are valued, but DO NOT show any sign that you think she's better than you.

Best to set a time limit for such conversations. Most girls will keep you up all night if you let them.

Once you start chatting you'll soon realize that she's just as boring as you.

Personnally, I hate texting in general. It's not my thing. I prefer talking with guys and my friends face to face whenever I have the opportunity. But don't worry about texting girls. You could never know if you annoy a girl or someone else just by sending her messages, so don't make those kind of assumptions. Just be you and you'll see if she's interested or not. If she's clearly not, move on to another girl. Don't waste your time, and do not belittle yourself. When a girl's interested in you, she'll let you know about it by texting you from herself or telling you to meet her up irl. Don't be afraid. It's the easiest thing to do before meeting someone. Texting is too easy and always holding a conversation by texting with someone is fast boring, 'cause in the end, if you have nothing to tell to the girl when you see her in real because both of you have been talking all night about everything, that sucks haha. Just text girls a little or better, meet some of them irl :)

Say something outrageous or random. If she doesn't respond or thinks it is lame, she is the boring one. That's just my spin on things at least.
