I always hear idiots say that if blacks dont like it here in america then we should go back to africa.
my answer to that is why dont whites americans go back to europe.
my point is blacks have every right to voice their complains like everyone else but its odd that blacks are always told to go back to africa.
what dose that even mean? Black americans have more in common with white americans then they do africans. also black americans are born US citizens we are in our place of origin I dont care where my ancestors came from which varies from west to southeast africa latin america and even europe besides all those countries dont exist anymore.
I dont even see africans as the same as black americans we arent the same cultrally we dont speak the same languages hell we even look different compared to them. so why do assholes keep using the same bullshit their great great great grand parents use?
black americans arent going anywhere we have every right to be here just as much as whites. so why do I keep hearing this go back to africa crap it means nothing?

      A lot of white Americans aren't from England. For example, my ancestors came from mainly Germany, Sweden, and England. I also had an African great great grandmother.

        Yeah but a lot of black peeps ain’t from Africa. He was using it as a generalised sense, as was I. The English landed in America and fought a war amongst each other to seperate and call themselves American. Come on guy.

      I do not do those things and many others dont to. many say "hey we arent talking about all blacks we are only talking about the thugs and hoodrats". if you said that I would not care but to generalize all blacks as doing those things is very annoying.

    My initial automatic reaction to this was that people surely couldn't be that stupid to say that to black people, and so that this was exaggerated, but then I realised better. Yeah, I completely agree with you. And of course it's even more stupid to say that to black people since their descendents were brought to America against their will.

    My dad told me when i was little that "african american" is an offensive word. I see what he meant. I always call ppl black.

    But yeah, i just wish the country would come together and stop all the bickering. No one is offering solutions to any of the problems.

    Black Americans need to stay smart reading technical manuals and by solving frequent problems with math. America needs them to keep its military running at a top notch level.

    Africans be nasty, man. They clog sewers by washing dishes with sand, breed diseased mosquitos with ungraded land, and rape each other just for fun. What retarded egotistical fucking losers.     Cause whites kinda conquered this side of the world? And by modern standards this makes this their home as much as the natives.

    African americans are in an odd position, once the slave class, now they are a 1st class citizen albeit suffering from some aftereffects from racism I mean it's just been 140ish years when they were in the slave class to 2nd class to 1st class 80 years ago so having old farts still being racists are kinda expected. That doesnt mean that they are screwed here, just means that they have just as good of a shot as anyone else. It's just that it's up to the parent(s) to make thier life not fucked up. How about for starters they end the cycle of single parent households? Take responsibility for your kids so they can do better than you?

        I dont have kids but whatever kids I'll receive in the future are going to get quality family time. It did me good and it will give them an edge by not having daddy or mommy issues.

    I thought I was so clever in my teens when I realized being African American means that you or your parents were born in Africa, and that there were people out there advocating African American as the correct way to say someone is black

    But yeah, I don't think people say go back to Africa to be offensive, it's not like they're thinking, "they're disagreeing with me and since they're black I'll tell them to go back to their country" I think it's more like "they're saying something unpatriotic so I'll tell them to move to a different country, they're black so Africa works"

    I think it's great you know the comment itself is meaningless! It's hard to keep negative voices quiet when they're persistent. It really sucks if you hear stuff like that a lot. Maybe you could turn the tables in a fun way with your wit
