Is it normal i don't work out?

I just cant be bothered, sure it would be nice to be buff but I have neither the time nor the inclination to go to the gym. I can open jars so I figure as a man I can already do what is required of me. IIN?

    • Pretty good so far, I'm an engineer working on a site of 26 buildings so I cover a fair distance and I take the stairs. I'm in the healthy bmi range but I don't have body builder muscle definition that's for sure!

Very well then. I don't exactly work out either but I'm never not in some sort of motion. I don't even know how many times I go up and down stairs every day and all that stuff so I guess we're even ;)

  • If people expect men to be buff, then I expect women to be very thin...Ofcourse only one of those expectations would be seen as sexist.

Being buff doesn't make you a man, it just makes you a man that is buff. There is more to a man than just their muscles.

hmm.. But i do expect women to be thin. or better yet -athlectic and fit. sexist or not, doesn't bother me.

I do agree with your second statement though, the art of manliness is much more than your bench press record.

Some workout for size, and some workout for strength, huge difference.
