Is it normal i don't wear make up?

I've not an amazing looking person, but I'm also not a bad looking person, and I've just never gotten into make-up. I used to think, 'oh next year I'll start wearing makeup' or 'when I get a job I'll wear makeup' but I never did. My mum never encouraged or discouraged me to wear makeup, though my dad (who lives with his new wife) generally thinks makeup looks better, though he's never pressured me to wear makeup.

Whenever I've had fancy dress, and worn some makeup, it always seems such a goddamn hassle to remove all the makeup, and if you don't it ruins your skin.

I don't have many spots, my eyes are a bit big, lashes are decent length - I work in a bar and my boss says I'm "naturally beautiful" and that I don't need makeup.

Does anyone else not wear any makeup?

None of the guys I've dated have minded either way.

    I don't think I've ever known a male who said he loved a chick in a ton of makeup

    Few months ago I knew an acquaintance who didn't wear makeup. Then one day out of the blue she does something to her eyes. I don't know what it was eyeliner or if she was secretly a witch because my goodness, I couldn't look at her eyes normally that day. Spellbinding. Bottom line: It's normal to not wear it. And if you do, remember less is more.

    I have yet to see a woman who has improved her looks by painting herself up to look like a clown. Even the tiniest bit of make up is abhorrent to me.
    Good on you for not falling into that whole thing.

    Yeah...same here. I didn't even start wearing makeup until my early 20's or so. I can pass without it...pretty even skin, big eyes and jazz. I wear it occasionally, but it's usually minimal, like to emphasise my eyes or something. Luckily, I can get away without wearing foundation and things like that. I'm too lazy!

    Good for you. Natural beauty is just that, natural and beautiful. Painted on beauty is an illusion that ends in the morning. I hope your thinking catches on.

    It's perfectly normal! I personally LOVE makeup. I couldn't live without it, but lots of people are naturally beautiful! If you don't want it, then don't wear it. :)

    It's completely normal not wearing make up, actually it's more normal not wearing than wearing.
    Don't tell yourself "next year I'll use make up" that sounds like an obligation - if you do want to wear make up do it, if you are doing it for a secondary purpose, don't make the effort.

    Not all chicks need make-up.. I see people with so much on their face, they look orange.

    I rarwly wear make up. I find it to be a hassel. And I really hate washing my face.
