Is it normal i don't want to sleep anymore because

My ex keeps showing up In my dreams. I keep dreaming of him and I know that I still have feelings for him but he told me to leave him alone and forget about him but he keeps showing up in my dreams, he keeps showing up in my workplace, and in my thoughts. It's like he's nowhere but everywhere at the same time. Is this normal?

You need to perhaps see a therapist. Additionally, and probably more importantly I think what you need is better sleep hygiene. Try to exercise everyday, eat healthy and journal to get your feelings out. Give yourself a regular bedtime every night and do things that help you relax like, reading something positive, praying, meditating and journaling. Sorry if I'm over stressing the journaling, but it really does help. I would probably do much more journaling, and be healthier for it if I didn't have issues... meh.

Whenever your feelings for your stupid ex come up try to challenge those feelings, by telling yourself, "it's over, he's my ex for a reason, I don't need him and it was a dream". You're not alone in having these dreams, trust me you are not alone, but you don't have to let the dreams control, and ruin your waking moments.

Hang in there, it does get better.

By the way, you all will notice that I am back from my, um, vacation. I know that most of you are overcome with emotion right now because of my return. I only asked that you try to compose yourselves.

No wonder he told you to leave him alone. You're a fucking whack job.
