Is it normal i don't want to be friends anymore

There is this girl I have known for some time now, she's nice and though we are for example not on the same intellectual level, we get along quite well. She is sweet, very honest and open to things.
Despite this arguments I feel we can't be friends anymore. I don't want to break the news to her, since I have felt this way before and that let to her being hurt.
Somewhere I don't want to have this feelings and I don't want to have this talk with her.
If I just reason, these feelings keep coming back so I have to do something about it.

  • Yes, it's normal to out-grow your friends.

You can't avoid feeling bad about letting them go. You just have to put on your big-kid-pants and do it. If it were easy to ditch a friend then we'd do it all the time, so it's a good thing it's not easy at all.

She's your friend not your girlfriend. You don't need to have an overly dramatic break up "We can be friends anymore!" No you save that for the bitch that steals your boyfriend or never pays back the money they owe. Just drift apart like normal people.
