Is it normal i don't understand deleted scenes?

In some movies - a lot of movies - there's a special feature so you can see the deleted scenes. Said in other words: you're able to see all the things which were so bad, the director didn't want it in his movie.
I don't get why you want to see the deleted scenes, when they have been... well, deleted. Is it normal I don't get why you have deleted scenes as a feature or why anybody watch them?

    The initial vision of a film isn't necessarily the best that the film could be. Hence the number of Director's Cuts out there.

    It's also not quite so simple as saying that the director just picks the thirty best scenes and then tries to make a film out of them, leaving the "worst" on the cutting room floor. The film needs to be cohesive, and occasionally this means leaving out scenes the film-makers were particularly proud of. It's only right that people should get the opportunity to see these.

    Sometime scenes get deleted because of time constraints.

    Some of the scenes are either shortened or deleted due to limited time on the film. So not always that the scenes are that bad but the movie was not long enough for them. Some movies when extended will have hours of extra content that the original did not have. Given the average time of movies which is between and 1hr-3hr3ominutes. That extra content would be too much for the film. Also some of them are bloopers. So funny to watch them screw up the lines.

    as YeeP said, most of the deleted scenes are deleted, cause of time restrictions.
