Is it normal i don't like the newer pokemon?

I think it all went downhill after gen 3 (Hoenn). Anything after it sucks ass and it completely eludes me to know people actually LIKE Sinnoh (Gen 4), Unova (Gen 5), and Kalos (Gen 6) pokemon. There's nothing wrong with not liking any pokemon after a certain generation besides give me some credit: atleast I like Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn pokemon. Many other people just like Kanto pokemon (Hardcore 1st Gen Fans but that doesn't mean they're "Genwunners". That term is stupid) or they like both Kanto and Johto pokemon. I grew up with gens 1-3 so maybe that's why I feel the way I do.

    I only like the first 2 gens because that's what I grew up with. With every generation after that, I keep thinking the same thing: "They're STILL making Pokemon!?"

    It would have been better if they had let the franchise die a merciful death in 90s nostalgia. And then maybe come out with a gritty reboot years later instead of continually rehashing the same formula with different mons.

    Even with all that being said, I kind of wish that B&W was around when I was a kid, if only because N and Ghetsis are hotties and almost certainly would have been my imaginary friends back then.

    I hated the ones for Black and White. A lot of them were extremely ugly. The same can be said for a lot of the Pokemon from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. I think people must have complained because the designs for X/Y, at least the ones that I've seen, are so good.

    I still like most pokemon to this day, most people just see the old ones and say that its better because of the good ol days. Which is what people say even about other old stuff like power Rangers, its still the cheesey show you remember you just use to like it. If you were to watch the old show or play the old game im sure you wouldn't like it.

    I remember beating pokemon yellow when it first came out on game boy. My friend erased my game and started over with his name.

    I also grew up with 1 and 2 and by 3 I thought it was stupid. It seems a lot of the people I become friends with stopped after gen 3 though, which usually indicates their age difference to be a couple years younger than me.. So yeah it just depends on your age I guess. And I'm guessing the people who came up with the term "genwunners" are young kids or at least have the mind of one, like these strange college men I see still playing Pokemon on their DS or whatever, lol..
