Is it normal i don't like prejudice?

I don't like *any* form of prejudice. Whether it's against sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, culture, religion, etc; I just plain don't like it. I think it's totally unnecessary for us to continue fightiing over these things.
I understand why people get touchy over the subjects, but doesn't anyone ever want to be the bigger person? If we can't get over our own pride, we'll never excel in learning and evolving. We all hang on to our anger so much, we hurt ourselves.
Does anyone else feel this way? IIN?

I agree. It doesn't solve anything. Unfortunately it still exists.

I say this is normal and that you're a very smart person.

The fact that humanity can't simply accept one another is saddening. Of all things, why is irrational hate so easy to cling to for so many?

    Yeah, it's really annoying.
Some don't want to be EQUAL, they don't want to be TOLERANT, they don't want to be UNDERSTANDING, they want to be RIGHT.

To heck with all of that, we'll never evolve as a race until we start seeing others and humans with feelings, thoughts and hearts that are just as valid as our own.

Of course. Prejudice doesn't mean the same thing as just an opinion. When you simply have an opinion about someone or something, there is no right or wrong answer. When you have an opinion, and there is a right answer, but you're not following the truth for sure, that's prejudice. In summary, prejudice basically means jumping to a conclusion, and that's disrespectful in many cases.

You're completely right. There's two sides to the coin however. It's human nature, and what makes us so great, makes us so shitty as well. Diversity. There are those of us who hate prejudice, others who don't care and, naturally, those who think the opposite. This applies to a lot more than what we're discussing, but I digress.

In no case will we ever eradicate prejudice, ever. Shame, that. But yes, it's normal, and for the most part you're right.

im against prejudice and racism but i do have to admit i think stereotypes are kinda funny like a black going crazy for cool aid or an old white guy telling kids to get off his lawn, ETC you know what im sayin its funny but im not really hurting anyone by simply laughing at stereotypes that have existed since before i was born the people that made these stereotypes are the racist assholes
