Is it normal i don't like icing?

I don't like icing. Im fine with whip cream-esque icing but not that disgusting hard, pasty stuff. Walmart cakes are okay, although a bit too sugary for me. I love ice cream and ice cream cakes, but maybe thats just because i love ice cream. I HATE that paste that they put on wedding cakes, its disgusting. I see so many kids with that type of icing on their fingers, and they lick a huge clump off of it. Alot of the time the kids don't even eat the cake, they just eat the icing. I think this type of icing is disgusting, is it just me or do you people think it's gross too? If you want a good cake, get some betty crocker cake mix at walmart, all you gotta add is milk and then bake. It is so moist and you can choose what type of icing you want, or choose to have none at all xD. Is this normal that i don't like fondant, sugar paste, etc.?

    I don't really like it either, and whoever decided to put that shit on brownies needs to be punished heavily.

    You're distaste for certain kinds of icing is normal. The kind used on birthday cake is kind of gross to me.

    This kind of reminds me of my trip to the thrift shop today. I was looking for size four pants for work and noticed that the place sold a lot of old lotions and skin care products for like a dollar each. Some of those products dated as far back as 2001. I noticed one of the products was a tube of white cookie icing and according to the letter and number code on them, it expired two years ago. How they mistook bottles of icing for lotion I don't know...

        Thanks. The good thing that came out of it was that I got a 30 dollar bottle of hair conditioner for only 6 bucks. The people running that store have no idea what they have there. They sell used particle wood book shelves for 50-100 bucks when they're only worth 25-45 brand new, they always put hentai manga in the childrens book section, and they have sold rare stuff like anime figures and certain out of print manga titles for less than 20 bucks while the same items are selling on eBay for up to three times as much. Supposedly the place is going soon and I can kind of see why...

    I can't stand icing especially wedding cake type icing.

    When I got married I pretended to eat the damn thing and spat it out after the photographer stopped taking photos.

    its fuckin gross id agree and fresh whipped cream is the shizzznat specially in a vanilla layer cake with amaretto in it

    I can't stand icing either. For me it's the texture and how sweet it is. Growing up my mom would have to get a birthday cake with half icing and half no icing.
