Is it normal i don't get why gangnam style is popular?

BECAUSE it's stupid. There's humour in the stupidity.
Most people like to laugh at dumbasses, dumbasses like to laugh at fellow dumbasses, etc.

Not going to lie, I found it entertaining.

Going to be honest again, even though I only listen to it when the video is on because it's only good with both, it still beats the vast majority of songs on nowadays.

to be perfectly honest, i think people only like it because it's trendy, but in like 2 years no one will even remember the rhythm.

I genuinely found it funny, it doesn't take itself seriously.

It's like MADE to be a fucking internet meme! It's everything the internet thinks is funny, and I love it, and my opinion reigns over everyone's!

I watched it when it first came out in July, first reaction was a bit along the lines of 'What on earth...', a few more listens and I loved it, another +100 replays on the radio and its lost the magic.

The video is refreshing because the industry takes itself so seriously right now... even though they churn out nothing but complete crap.

Remember when Tom Green trolled everyone with that video of him putting his butt on everything? We need more of that right now. I hope that doesn't date me on a site like this...

I didn't like it. There's plenty of music that's fun, catchy and oddball as well as being actually good.

That said, I like it when "joke" songs do well in the charts It used to happen relatively often here, but it doesn't anymore :(

Tbh I think the same as you about it

I think it's the video that made it appeal to so many people. It is funny and the first time I saw it I especially laughed at that elevator part. I don't mind it but I'm pretty sure anyone would get tired of anything if they heard or seen it enough.

I think it's funny. I like goofy songs that don't try to be anything great, they're just for fun & entertainment.

I do know a lot of people dislike them though, and that's OK. I'm also a big fan of the "Sexy And I Know It" music video xD but a lot of people hate that.

It was meant to be fun. And a joke. Everything doesn't always have to be so serious. What is wrong with getting up and dancing and laughing and being silly? I like Psy. I have a few of his other songs: Spit It Out, Blue Frog and Right Now. I also liked his Olympics song but it's not on iTunes.
