Ectomorph body type, it's normal. If you want to gain muscle, you're going to have to up your diet.

You need to quit eating. Don't eat a thing for a month or so and you'll balloon up.

    Metabolism or black magic maybe.

I wish I had your problem. The world is more accepting of an underweight person than they are of anyone who is overweight. I have a sluggish metabolism and an obsession with eating good food in large portions.

Same here. Maybe when you get older, and your metabolism slows, you'll have a chance to gain weight.

  • Gosh I am the same way. I eat what I want and have stayed a constant weight for the past three to four years. I don't even exercise that often either, although I need to. However, I am surprisingly not even overweight, around 5'6 and 123 pounds. That's not tooooo bad!

Everyone says it's my metabolism, but I am a slightly paranoid person and think its probably tape worms.

    • Are tape worms white tiny worms?

      • A while ago there was the tape worm diet. You ingest tape worm eggs in a pill and then hatch and anchor themselves to your intestines and whatnot. They extract nutrients/calories from what you eat and are definitely not tiny. They can grow to huge lengths.

        • Ew.. from Google images they don't look anything related to 'tiny' T_T

No, they are long disgusting things that live in your stomach.
The tiny white worms live in fecal matter. I hate those things, but they make excelent bait for fishing.

What is? The worms? Or the fact that they make good fishing bait?

I have the same problem! I've weighted 99lbs since 8th grade, no matter how much or even little I eat my weight doesnt fluxuate. I just eat however much I want and don't worry about it. My friends say that once I turn 30 Ill gain weight. I've never really wanted to be muscly so I don't know what would happen If I lift weights but I am a regular runner and try to keep a balanced diet. So I think it is normal or I hope it is. Also as long as your BMI is in the healthy range like mine then ypur good.

This happens to me too. The doctor used to tell me off and said I had to gain weight but I stopped worrying ages ago. They told me that to gain weight I didnt need to eat more, I just needed to go to the gym :p
