Is it normal i do 'desk pops' all too often?
I enjoy firing off guns indoors, so what? I always say 'desk pop' afterwards, that should make it OK.

Although I'm all for gun use, I also believe in "treat never keep keep"
As for firing a gun at home - that in itself isn't actually illegal. I know several people who have their own practice ranges on their property. The ranges in question aim uphill and there's no neighboring property close enough to be in danger from stray bullets.
As for firing off inside the home just for fun... unless this is in some kind of indoor range, I cannot see why. If you're using regular full jacketed bullets there's a risk that they will penetrate the wall and keep on going. (said bullets go 30 inches through ballistics gel for example). And if you're using hollowpoints then you're pretty much wasting self-defense ammo on shits and giggles.
Although ... at least you're not using a Glock.
You're OK. If you were deranged, you would scream while you fired into your toilet.
Let's see...
Not only are you destroying your home by putting holes in the ceiling, but you risk getting hit in the head by a ricochet bullet or falling chunks of ceiling. And that's assuming that you're intelligent enough to only do this when no one else is around to be at risk (I'm not convinced).
It sounds like you didn't think this through.
What kind of gun? Not that I'm knowledgeable about them or anything, just wondering. Bang bang
Fucking IIN. it logged me out... so now i gotta retype my glorious summary of glock issues.
first off glock kaboom. that right there should be enough really but there's other reasons too. ;-)
now glocks are popular - for a couple of reasons... they're cheap. and many cops use them (because they're cheap). This is also why they're a top pick with criminals too - cos they always see the cops using them.
now they're cheap because they use polymer more than metal. the metal is better, but more expensive.
and granted sure, any gun can go kaboom if you use bad ammo (I won't touch wolf ammo even if they paid me to take it!) but glocks tend to do it with regular ammo too.
and frankly when it comes to a firearm reliability matters to me more than cost.
if i got a semi-auto i'd probably go with Ruger, Sig Sauer, or Walther.
although personally i'd rather stick with my revolver.
You're OK, Angel. Thanks for the Glock review. I was shooting my friend's 9mm Glock at an indoor pistol range, and thought it gave me very good accuracy for the price. Yes, the expensive firearms like Rugers, Sigs, et all will last twenty years, but I only shoot a few times a year.
The American second amendment guarantees that you can buy some pretty trashy stuff made in Brazil. Trashy firearms - its an attitude.
I did not know this was alright with the law. Where do you live that shooting off a gun inside a business facility is legal?
Someones been watching 'The Other Guys'

Whether it's normal or not, it is not exactly an intelligent thing to do. But hey, as a former Marine and fellow enthusiast, who am I to judge? Just be sure you always know what lies beyond your target.
