I love this woman, she is 4 years older than me, and thats her excuse for not dating me. but anyway, she has told me she loves me and I the same. we do so in the form of letters. one time I was writing her a letter and I thought about being married and having sex and kissing, and I just started crying. anyway, what I want to know is- is it normal to cry (if you are a guy) because you love someone.

    Crying of lonelness is normal..

    Sometimes its best to keep it stored inside though, it hurts, but sometimes theres no choice. :)

    Depends on the society. Supposedly men have to be masculine and not cry or be emotional or anything. Ever notice how boys are discouraged when they cry and to suck it up but girls are encouraged? Anywho some may say it's not normal, but it's not healthy to deny feelings. Crying relieves stress so I'd encourage it. Then again I'm a girl so...:/

    As for the woman I'd straight up ask her if age is the only thing.

    I think it is so sweet when men cry.

    The only time I have EVER seen my husband cry was before we got married. We split up for moral reasoning years ago and I caught him crying in his car.

    It was the most vulnerable I had ever seen him and it was a very special moment I will remember forever.

    I would look more into her reasoning. If you're under 18 then I can understand it and waiting would be the best thing to do. If not, then she might be hiding something from you or scared of what her family may think.

    I also cry when i was alone and have nothing to do.

    Sounds like she's stringing u along. 4 years older is nothing really an she shouldn't care if she truly loves u. (unless your 12 yo!)
