Is it normal i cried like crazy after watching marley and me

I know crying with movies is totally normal but I never cry with any of them.. like EVER. And after watching marley and me I was so devastated I cried for at least an hour. :(
how can a story about a dog make me cry but stories about people not? lol

    That movie is sad and crappy! Well, almost all G-rated movies suck (with a few exeptions) so it kind of figures.

    I've been avoid this movie, since I thought it's just a poinless hollywood tearjerker..

    Me too, more than any other movie has. Second in the running is Toy Story 3. I think Hachi made me cry also, can't remember.

    Me too. Who have thought I'd liked Owen Wilson? This is the film that made me like him. Plus a Marley. I can't go through the last quarter of the film without crying. We've all lost a dog. It hurts so much.
