  • You should focus on one main profession but you can do all the other things on the side. You can do engineering as your main profession and in your spare time you can make video games and make music.

What's your hurry? Do it all, you've got time.
I used to run a boat until I became proficient, then off to a new one, no matter how good a job it was.
There's nothing in the rulebook that says you have to choose an occupation at 19 and stick with it your whole life. I did, however, find an often missed side note that states, "one's life should be enjoyed".

There are gifted people that have been given the right to attend an engineering school. You are obviously gifted and probably have more talents than just the one that you are currently enrolled in. If you want a more comfortable life and be able to earn a very good living, there is more to the engineering degree than say, a music degree.
I say this with a little background because I am a graduate engineer and have a very good job which I enjoy. (This is very important to like what you are doing) Our son also has his masters in computer engineering and is enjoying the fact that he is getting a very good living and is enjoying the fruits of his work, which is no small effort to obtain, as you may well know by now.
If you don't have the drive to work for what you want, then you may not be the person that will enjoy giving it all that you have to get what you want.
It's not easy, but if you want a very respected life, you need to make up your mind that you are going to make the best effort that you can give for that degree.
Good luck, I wish you well.

You should pick computer programmer if you like video games. Engineers are sexy but they move around too much.
