Is it normal i cannot talk to my brother about girls?

So is it normal that I cannot speak to my brother about girls? It's so awkward. I'm the older brother but we are both old enough to date, yet I don't dare ask him about his dating life. When we were younger, we would be able to talk freely about women, like seeing Jessica Alba in Fantastic Four and saying "woah she is freaking hot!" Now if we watch T.V. together and a hot chick appears, I feel so weird watching it with him. We don't even make references to girls. In reality, I love to talk about girls with my friends. Just not my brother. I see other brothers do this easily, letting each other in on their dating lives and asking how's your girlfriend and stuff.

    My brother and I have the same relationship. We don't talk about girls, porn, or anything vulgar like that. Honestly, I prefer it that way. I don't really care so much about his dating life. We both talk about a lot of stuff but sex isn't one of them. We usually just talk about tv shows or games. I think this is normal.

    I don't have any siblings, but I think this is normal. I find it weird when family members talk about things like that. It's too personal of a subject.

      I don't know honestly, that's why I turned to the Internet. But I know I don't feel comfortable at all. Like aren't older brothers suppose to give younger brothers advice on these kinds of things? I want to tell him "Go get a nice girl before they get corrupted in college" as he is in HS and I'm in college now but I cannot

        Well, I can understand that. There is certainly an age gap too, and that can make it very difficult to relate with someone sometimes, even if they are your sibling.

        Also, lol, being in high school doesn't determine a girl's 'niceness.' Haha! Have you seen today's generation?

          yes I have! LOL but I'm a 'good' kid so that's why I think this way hahas and I want my little brother to be a good kid too :]
