Is it normal i can't stand my look?

Ok I'm 17 and every time I go to the bathroom and pass a mirror it makes me want to punch someone in the face.

So is it normal I hate the look of myself? I would post a picture but again can't stand the look of my face so... And I'm sure if you saw it you would want to gouge out your own eyes with a spoon (FYI I don't have any deformitys)

I am the same way. Except once in a blue moon I think I look okay. Then it becomes clear that it was just false hope the next time I look.

It is normal for a child to hate either your look, or your body. You will definitely grow out of it. I used to hate myself with a passion! But now, I consider myself very sexy! ...even if I'm not shown such.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes we all look bad even models and movie stars look like shut when they wake up or get a little bit bloated. Also don't focus all on looks.

Everyone assumes your a guy.. Either way, man or woman, if you smell great. By popularity vote, people will date someone if they are moderately good looking, and smell great. But either way, normal. I hate myself to. I never used to have self esteem issues, but starting when I got a superficial boyfriend, I feel like a fat cow. Everyone goes through this, pretty darn normal.

Well, I only weigh 110lbs.. 115 at my worst. He doesn't constantly make me feel that way, but in the past he said I looked fat. I've never been over 115.. a comment like that doesn't leave your mind easily, you know? It's hard losing weight when you don't have a lot to loose lol But somehow I still don't like what I see in the mirror.. but who does, right?

115? If you're over 5'3" you're thin. There's no way you're fat. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about yourself. You may be a little obsessive looking for perfection?

I'm short lol 5'1 and 112lbs currently. Some part of me know i'm not fat, but every part of me knows i'm not perfect. This world doesn't make it easy to feel comfortable in your own skin.

Lol obsessive and looking for perfection? Look at my mom She so thin I don't think she can lose any more weight but she wants to and thinks she can so she stopped eating meat products thinking that would help well since I moved out to my moms I gained 40 or so pounds in 4 months ( I'm a guy 17 at 5"7' used to be 180 now 220) and used to eat meat daily hell pizza or burger a day didn't move from 180 and I was happy now I'm 220 and my mom is making excuses like I don't move as much... So then with that logic I'm not breathing as much as I used to? I hardly moved before...

You'll still pull chicks - god bless 'em, they don't have the visual stimulation circuitry that guys do.
