Is it normal i can;'t make it through the morning without a nap?

Even after going to bed at 12:30-1:30 and waking up at 9 30 or 10, I feel very very tired and weak every morning. On days that I work I usually get less sleep, about 7 to 8 hours, and have to get up at 8. But I still don't think this should cause me the fatigue that I feel day in and day out. My sleep schedule is fairly consistent, I eat healthy and am moderately active.
Also, I have not taken my Adderall for a month. I usually feel tired, weak, and lazy without it but I would think by now I'm not dependent on it!!
Anyone have similar struggles with tiredness? I also feel sore every day but I'm not sick.

An interesting example of urban prose. I like writing haikus myself:

        The communist flag is red
        The sky is grey
        Molotov cocktail

    Work. Out.

Get into a normal routine and stick to it for at least a month, every day. Don't complain, reason it out, or think about it. Don't even think about this post, just get up and do it. NOW. (Actually, get up about an hour and a half earlier, and do it as soon as you wake up. Just DO it.)

You will have no more nap problems and you will feel fantastic. Not the next day, or the next week, but about a month from when you consistently start. Mark my words. Talk to you then.

  • I've been like that my entire life and it doesn't matter what time of the day I go to bed or wake up at. The first four hours of consciousness in my day I spend feeling dopey and I hardly ever talk. I think other people might feel this way too and it's why they drink coffee. Maybe you and I should start drinking coffee in the morning too. :)

I guess I have different views from other people when it comes to coffee. I view it as a last resort to staying awake rather than being dependent on it. Coffee hurts my stomach too...

I don't like coffee breath and it give me heartburn and loose stool.

      • That's how I've always felt about coffee too. That's too bad it irritates your innards. :(

You just need the right person to talk you to death early in the morning?
Or someone who livens the place up with some well-timed loud farts real early?

      • Honestly, I don't even think someone's well-timed loud farts would phase me. I just feel consciously withdrawn for the first couple of hours, even if I were to start my morning with a lot of physical activity. I've been that way since I was a kid.

Someone to chat you up real good first thing in am? Surely you wouldn't be rude to them.

          • That wouldn't bother me either, but I just wouldn't be contributing much to the conversation. :)
