Is it normal i can't deal with compliments from my partner?

Every time my partner compliments me, I get this weird physical feeling that kinda washes over me and it actually hurts, and then I feel like I'm about to cry. It feels like it's at least a mostly negative feeling.

    I don't think this is normal.. I can't take compliments though because they are never true.
