Is it normal i can have full on conversations with my self.

Some times out of no where ill just start having a conversation with my self. It's allways in my head but i mumble and say some of the words to. Like i can be asleep and wake up to my self talking to me so then i go into a conversation just like that. Is it normal?

All of the time in my head, but sometimes at night when I do it the most I talk very quietly but out loud. Just role playing things I'd like to say, imaginary situations I'd like to happen and if I'm feeling down it helps to let it all out.

I talk to myself when I'm alone or during the day. It can either be just a small comment to myself or a full blown conversation.

ugh, fuck psychologist's and their fake "diagnoses." Just because someone doesn't act like a psychologist thinks is how you should, or a "societal norm," then they feel the need to label that trait and say that it is bad and needs to be fixed. And then they make more money by telling people there is more things wrong with them, and that they should keep seeing them, and then rake in money from big business pharmaceuticals for prescribing their BULLSHIT medicine which has more side effects than actual medicinal effects. And there is no need for either.
Let people be themselves. I talk to myself more than anyone in the world, I do it in public, it's easier for me to think out loud, and it entertains me to have conversations with myself and it makes ME happy.

and btw, "DID is one of the most controversial psychiatric disorders with no clear consensus regarding its diagnosis or treatment." So take your specific diagnosis with a grain of salt.
