  • Normal enough. I tend to sort colors by ideals or passions

    Blue = Calm, cool like the sea on a windless day
    Green = Magic, plants, life
    Ice-White = Unique
    Red = Impatience, impertinence, an illusory fire (biased I know)
    Brown = Danger; like a knife concealed
    Pink = Feminine, vulnerable, gentle
    Dark green = Military. Ten hut!

        no it's an alternative privet school, they are qute popular all over the world, I went to one (the first one ever opend actualy).
        they teach in alternative and new methods. one of their main methods is to teach kids to associate things with colours and objects. very usefull in later years for studying.
        to me:
        nouns are black triangles
        adjectives are blue ones
        pronouns are red ones
        verbs are red circles
        and avverbs are orange cirles
        0 =white
        1=red
        2=green
        3=pink
        4=orange
        5=yellow
        ecc. up till 9
        so in math i still ad up colours. ( know it sounds crazy but I get top marks in math
        what you do is similar to what me and my old elementary school friends still do.

  • I played with those plastic letters when I was a kid and each letter became permanently associated with a color.

    There is a name for this but I can't remember it. I get what you mean but it sounds like the association is very strong for you. Perhaps you're a very visual thinker. Have you ever done a test to see what sort of learner you are?

    • Do you mean the thing with people who see things in color? If so I know what you are talking about and I forgot the name as well. I did take a test and I think it said Audio.

    • What do you mean? Do you not like the color brown? No I do not know I guess the colors match the personality and when I think of them I get the spark of color in my mind.

    That's actually quite normal. Some people can taste colors and sounds. Some people literally see people in different colors. I forgot what the 'disorder' is called, but it's not bad. google it.

    I associate my family with their favorite colors. My brother, sister, and I all had our favorite colors and our mom would buy us things depending on the color. So it grew on me. Whenever I see something red, I think of my sister. Whenever I see something blue, I think of my mom and brother. Was never too sure what my dads favorite colors was, but I'm pretty sure it's the same as mine which is funny because it's also my grandmothers! Hah.
