Its impossible to find work right now and 21 year drinking law is not helpful. One of the easier jobs to get bartending and Cops. The Cop jobs only require a clean record and HS diploma. So its easy for people to get out of HS. You can send a troop to die in Iraq and he cant drink? Wtf is wrong with this picture?
I'm not so sure that you can't be a bartender at age 18. It might be different state to state.
But why are the only choices bartending or a cop? Waiting tables is similar to bartending. You could also get a different job in the meantime to support yourself until you're old enough to bartend... if that's what you really want to do.
You can not work in a bar if you are under age. Period! So add that to your silly reasons to hate America.
Why do you need to drink so badly? It sounds like you can't afford it anyway, so what's the big deal?
I left my parent's house at 15 and never "hooked". You really do not have any understanding of the real world out there, do you? Judging by your posts you aren't very grown up, no matter what age you are, so you are probably much better off not drinking at all, until you do grow up.
Move to some third world Islamic country.

bartending other then that i dont think theres many more jobs that you need to be 21 to do
how old do you need to be to work in a liquor/beer store i think your good to do that at 18
i doubt you have to be older than 18 to work in a brewery other then those three what jobs are in alcohol?
WTF is wrong with your grammar. No wonder you can't find a job. You are also mean and have poor arguments. Honestly, there are way better things to hate about America other than the fact you can't work in a bar until you are 21. You sound like the type that says "omg one direction split up, my life is over!!"
And even if there was no drinking law, how do you know you are going to magically get a job. I say calm your undeveloped tits, dude, and instead of hating this law (which will get you nowhere), start making a plan of action if your parents do actually kick you out.
Maybe you should THINK about moving to Canada cause the age you can start to drink at is 19 years old not 21.
There are plenty of other things you could do aside from bar tending or policing.
As for legal drinking ages, I guess they want to ensure a person is fully developed before buying and consuming alcohol. I mean, it's bad enough for adults, imagine what long term heavy drinking does to a child's body!
In the UK, age of consent for sex is 16, legal age you can drive is 17, legal age for buying cigarettes and alcohol is 18. This seems fairly reasonable to me.
There are way more important reasons to hate America. Working as a bartender right of highschool may not be a good idea (nor Cop for that matter).
Yes, and suppose being a homeless/jobless 18 year old is better right? Is that what you are suggesting? How about hooking is that a better occupation for an 18 year old? Since that is often what the homeless 18 year olds kicked out by mommy and daddy end up doing. They end up hooking.
