I'm straight and i am very proud of it! People tell me i am bragging too much but i think they are overreacting. I usually ignore heterophobes but sometimes they can get irritating with their judgmental attitudes. I imagine a world where i can hold hands in public with my opposite sex partner without getting weird looks from gay people!
Nobody should show "pride" in anything. You want to pretend you're a woman? Fine. It's disgusting, but fine. You want to fuck another man? Fine. It's disgusting, but fine. You want to mutilate your genitals and call yourself a "woman" because of "sexual reassignment surgery" (LOL), fine. The funny thing, the very same people who preach acceptance can't even accept who they really are. You may "want" to be a woman, but you're not... so wouldn't acceptance mean you accept that you're a man? Sure, you're a feminine man, but a man nonetheless. Guess what, world? I don't identify with being a "human". I want to be a dolphin... so you will acknowledge me as a dolphin and make special dolphin bathrooms for me. Wait? That's ridiculous? Yeah, I know.
I'm not sure proud is the right word. I'm thankful to be straight because i don't have to worry as much about what people think when I'm affectionate with my girlfriend. I do however feel sympathy for gays because I used to be a part of a church where affection was strongly discouraged and everyone thought they had a say in my relationships, I imagine how I felt is similar to what they go through.
Ahh, I see where you're going with this. Straight Pride, yes? I take your point but you don't want to go too far down that path; their emblem is a brown rainbow.

Can't really say I see the point, but all things considered it makes a lot more sense than gay pride.

It's fine to love your sexuality, as long as you don't think it makes you better than anyone else.
I don't think you should feel pride for something that you haven't had to fight for. Also, as counterfeit said you're not as clever as you think you are.
