Is it normal i am no longer excited for my birthday?

I would've literally forgotten my own birthday if people hadn't reminded me. It just seems so silly to celebrate it. I don't know.. I used count the hours left (I know I'm lame :P) but now I don't even care. I really lost all the excitement. Is this normal? Probably means I'm growing up?

I feel the same, my 16th birthday is in December and my mum is so excited about it and is arranging a massive house party, dressing up the house, wants to get my nails done and all that, but although i should because its the big sixteen i really couldn't care less, i think it might be because i just don't want to get any older, knowing quite alot of my mum's friends and being quite mature for my age i have heard them say that they wish they made the most of their younger days and i think that because i'm not excited about my birthday anymore it is because i don't want to grow up, you might have the same thing:)

As a kid you're in it for the presents. Once you get older you dont get as many presents. Simple.
