Is it normal i am my best when i'm tired?

I am much quicker, accurate, and attentive with things when I'm tired. Not just tired, but borderline exhausted, to the point where I just feel like I'm about to collapse or pass out. I happen to be my most ideal self while I'm in this state. IIN? I do not think it is. I need help. Can someone please explain to me what is going on here?

Me too. Tiredness, stress, pressure, difficult situations, emergencies, that's when I really excel. Nobody ever sees it here because I'm normally relaxed. I'm a good person to have around in an emergency. I go into overdrive and then only fall apart when everything is resolved.

you are running on adrenaline at that point. releasing all kinds of energy. it is not ideal.

  • I'm the opposite. If I'm dead tired, you'd get more use out of a rubber cane then you would me.

I feel the same way when I get no sleep or just a couple hours of sleep

Im the opposite, when im tired, I cant think clearly. If im stressed, I might rush to get something done, and it usually turns out poorly cause i rushed it and couldnt think clearly either. sometimes, im more irritable under stress.

oddly enough, if I sleep more than 6-7 hours, i usually feel really tired, and my brain runs a little more slowly than normal. about 3-6 hrs, and im at the peak of energy.

    Lucky you.

When I'm tired, I can't do anything but sleep.

I stay about the same, but get a little crazier than normal. But everyone's different so no worries.

I'm similar. I like doing work late at night. I think it's because I'm easily distracted during the day, and can focus more when tired. I'm not more accurate though.

My daughter's intelligence seems to show more at night when she is tired. Perhaps it is because you're brain is transitioning to the alpha state, which is a more relaxed state than consciousness, and so you become more intuitive and second guess yourself less than you would in the fully conscious state, when you are more likely to be held back by inhibitions. Id say it is unhealthy to activate this state of mind via exhaustion, though. You can probably achieve the same results through meditation.

I thrive under difficult panicky conditions. I just go insane but unfortunately for me it shows I get not just bags but suitcases under each one of my eyes.

Oh my, can you imagine how annoying that would be if it only effected one eye?

haha yeah it'd be so weird. having eye bags/suitcases is one thing having it only affect one eye is even worse
