Is it normal i am looking forward to humanities' demise?
I can't say I hate the human race, but part of me looks forward to the day we are all dead. I feel like humans shouldn't be apart of the earth any more.

i totally agree. humans have destroyed this planet beyond belief. IMO, we don't deserve to be here. it will be a good day for planet earth when humans are gone. and at the rate we're going, we'll kill ourselves off eventually. the planet will heal itself. humans, are just screwed
Well what do you think we will all go after were gone. Into the earth to be recycled? Having no memory, no part of us still alive somewhere? Ive been having those thoughts lately. Because if that is true, why are we even here? What is our purpose? We wouldn't have none. Living for nothing. Theres something more to it than that, there has to be. Otherwise were living this life for nothing with a birth we don't remember, and a death we wouldn't remember or anything in between, So why should we even be alive? With that there is nothing to live for, nothing to strive for, just a death and then were bleak, gone from existence and from the memory of the world that hates us. Think about it, there has to be a God that created us for a purpose, otherwise were here for no reason other than to live a miserable existence for nothing.
Are you a misanthrope? I would think this is common. But I would also think that people who feel this way should do away with themselves first and let the others who want to live and who are trying to help Earth survive.
each to their own, I look forward to humanity's colonization of the universe not just earth, EVERYWHERE, trillions of trillions of humans in the universe.
Hey I do that why I think one of the reason zombie movies are popular is because most of the population dies
I agree totaly. I have come to the conclusion i hate humans a lot, but i dont think u or me really hate them (us?) i feel we have used the beautiful gift of earth because we feel like we own it. We dont. The earth was here way befor us, and will be here long after wer gone. Sometimes, i too wish we would all just die. We dont derserve somthing so beautiful if we dont even care about it.
The earth doesn't need saving. It will be around for billions of years after we die out. Save the human habitat should be the campaign. Even if we kill everything on earth that we can, including ourselves, a billion years from now the earth will be teeming with life again. We will never be able to kill everything forever. So, don't worry. Someday after humanity's gone everything will be renewed - but we won't be here to know it.
I understand what you mean. At the rate at which we're going, it does seem inevitable too. However, I am still hopeful that things will change and we'll adopt a whole new way of thinking as a whole. Whether or not we collectively get our act together or not, there WILL be a change anyway. Humans aren't automatically doomed to failure. We're not automatically born enemies of the earth - that's just an idea that allows us to carry on walking down this path. And not all humans live in a way that harms the earth. No idea if this is the sort of thing you were thinking of...I just realised that I'm rambling.
You wanna see the demise of humanity in your lifetime then? It'd have to be quite a rapid one in that case.
Is this for religious reasons, then you could be categorised as normal, but insane.
