Is it normal i am hurting because my ex has found a new girlfriend?

My ex and I were together for 13 years. We broke up two years ago. I have been with my current boyfriend for a year, and I just found out that my ex has had a girlfriend for the past 3 months. I am hurting and very upset.

Our breakup was very ugly. And the lawyers are still involved, over the property.

I designed the house we own together, I purchased all the furniture, and decorated the whole place. When I left, I didn't take anything with me. I now regret it. I feel sick thinking that his new girlfriend is enjoying all my hard work. Have I gone insane, or is what I am feeling normal? How long before I get over this?

Advice would be greatly appreciated

If you like your new boyfriend you'd be over him.

Its going to take time because your brain has to "unwire" after 13. It will take time that's all.

Arm yourself. March towards the house. And get a life.
