i am 18, blonde, and people allways tell me im pretty. I really want a boyfriend, i dont know how to pick up guys.its really hard for me, i see all my friends picking up guys. I really dont understand what im doing wrong. Everyone says it's easy, but its not. i am depresed, i am going to be alone for the rest of my life

some guys will see a pretty girl and not approach her because they will think she's in a relationship. it's sad but that is the truth. maybe it just comes down to being confident.

Just take it easy. Guys are always looking and the fact ur not taken pbly because ur too pretty.
By the way, guys should be the ones picking you up. It is in a guys nature to be agressive and the hunter. Frankly, I have always avoided agressive girls because I have viewed them as being desperate and willing to do ANYTHING to gain attention from a male. I want a tender, wholesome girl that has not been a doormat and a revolving door. Let them come to you. You can not fake sensuality! This is all we want as guys when we get older; someone levelheaded and rational, someone who is positive, loves themselves, let's us watch our sports, and someone who is sexually receptive to our needs. Just be yourself everthing will fall into place.
You are lucky and you do not even know it. Relationships are hard and those who have attempted them from earily ages feel the ping of immature love and it often jades them. Find out who you are and learn to love yourself in your solitude. There is a difference between being alone and lonely. You will eventually find your other half but do not rush it. Do not compromise your standards.
Really don't worry about it. First of all, it is totally normal not to have had a boyfriend or girlfriend at 18. Secondly, talk to some of your friends and have them teach you about flirting. If you have close guy friends you can talk to them about it too. Be confident with yourself and don't throw yourself into somethig you can handle by moving too fast. I'm a guy who just turned19 and I am in the exact same situation you are in. I just finished my first year at university and I encountered the same problems you are. I think there are more people in your boat than you realize. Don't worry about it. It sure as hell didn't do me any good.
I'm 18 and I've never had a girlfriend. Sometimes it just takes more time for some people, but I'm sure you (and me) will find someone eventually.
You're probably over thinking it. People act differently when they're trying to attract people. I think you just need to relax a little. I've found way more success when I stopped trying to impress everyone.
