Is it normal i always like whimsical characters?

When watching shows and movies. I always like the most audacious characters. and flamboyant characters. The ones that tend to be very whimsical and free. The characters that are very out there like Willy Wonka, the club owner on tron, the Once ler. People always tell me they seem gay. This personality has a charm to it. I find them funny. Yet people always find it odd.

    I don't find Willy Wonka gay but I could certainly argue that in Johnny Depp's version of the film, he played him with a certain Michael Jackson kind of quality, and he may or may not have been gay and/or a paedophile.
