Is it normal hurricanes in unusual places

I watched an episode of the cleveland show and they had a hurricane on the show. Then a day after that, i wondered if virginia ever gets hurricanes. The ppl on the cleveland show live in stoolbend, virginia. is it normal to have hurricanes in virginia? Also does anyone know what state the american dad lives in?

    They get them in Virginia, yes. Hurricane Isabel affected VA and I think Hurricane Floyd (aka Floydzcloud) might have had some impact.
