Is it normal hearing music?

So no I don't just randomly hear music. I'll be sitting there playing song over in my head,and suddenly something will click and it won't sound like me go over it, or my thoughts but it's as if I were actually listening to the song. All the background noise fades away and there's just the music. If I think about it stops and I'm back to simply thinking about it and what happen. Anywho is this normal?

    I do the same. I think some people can hear music in their heads; whole orchestras etc but others can barely hear a melody. I heard of an experiment that has been done where participants listened to music - some of them noticed when the music was stopped, but the others didn't as it just continued in their heads. So I think it's pretty normal!

    I do a similar thing. I can start playing songs in my head and it will be like I'm actually listening to them. I can even switch songs if I want to.

    Well, i think it is. One time i was humming a song in my head and i turned on the radio and the song that i was humming was playing and it was at the exact same part i was humming. Coincidence? I think not!
