    Well does he have transportation? If not, a 30 minute drive is a several hour walk or a hefty cab fare-here a taxi would charge about $80 one way for that. It can be a real pain in the ass to get around if you don't have a car or even if you do have a car, the cost of gas is pretty high. Maybe he just wouldn't be able to see you much without a whole lot of expense and hassle?

    If he does have a car then either maybe he can't afford to make the trip too often or it might mean he's just not that interested.

    i live about 1hour 30 away from my girlfriend... we only see eachother once a week on saturdays but this relationship is working pretty well... so he has no excuse
