Is it normal he's ignored me for so long?

It's been months since I heard from my ex/closest friend. We were friends first..great friends..close friends. We'd talk every day, spend hours hanging with each other each week, etc. Then we tried dating because we really had strong feelings for each other. We dated and it was going well but there were some bumps and so I said let's be friends again..and we were for a few weeks and it was still great!

But then, one day he invites me to see a movie with him during the weekend and he never comes back..He's been ignoring me now..and I don't know why. I once said if this doesn't work out, I don't know if we can just be friends again because I like you too much and he agreed..soo I'm kind of worried that It's all my fault he left me..

It's so weird because my friend says he's still single and the only thing he's doing is looking for a job because he lost his last one.. Why is he ignoring me then? My friend said he used to talk about me all the time and tell them how lucky he was to have me..and now poof, gone.

    It's possible his feelings for you are too strong and he needs to distance himself from you to get over them completely. He'll come back when he's ready, just be patient and everything will work itself out!

    That's NOT normal. I had a roomate once that started in on that. Started to use my expressions, try to do the same things I would do. My other roommate used to joke about it behind his back to me. It was kinda creepy. I actually felt sorry for him, so I took him out with a couple of other friends and got him a little drunk and told him he had a problem and that I thought he would benefit from some therapy. Anyway, he took my advise and saw someone and in a couple of weeks he stopped being like me. Then he actually started to HATE me, which, for the most part I could give a crap he was dirt under my nails. Anyway, that's my story have no idea how that dude wound up; he was a pretty FUBAR dude and I'm glad I don't know him anymore.
