Maybe i'm just used to guys i've dated and gotten in a relationship with kissing me pretty early on, but is it normal he hasn't kissed me after going out 4 times now?

I can tell he really likes me, and i really like him too. We talk every day, he's super nice to me (opens doors,buys me drinks/food et...the whole gentleman deal), and we always have a good time hanging out. But, he still hasn't kissed me yet.

And technically, he hasn't really held my hand either. The few times he did yesterday was what i thought was so i wouldn't fall and hurt myself (we we're climbing up a steep mountain side).

He told me he was super shy, but i was thinking that was only when it came to asking a girl out. Should i just continue to wait on him to kiss me, or do it myself?

    every man is most probably aware that they are the ones who should make the move, and kiss them first. he hasnt done it yet, he knows he should, so give him time. it will happen. and if it never does, then i guess it never will. you may be getting into the friend zone. you could try kissing him first but it could end badly. he could reject you or you may scare him off. just give it time, it will just mould into the flow of things.

    sounds like he has a painful case of shydom (yes i made it up, deal with it :p)

    if you are really getting impatient with it just do it yourself, be gentle though, maybe one he sees that you really want it he'll feel more comfortable :)

    I wouldn't push it. If it happens it happens. Maybe he just likes to take things a little bit slower. Don't try to kiss him because he might not really want to kiss just yet. He might get startled, or it might just kill the feeling thats jst starting to build.
