Is it normal good cop bad cop

I've been thinking, hypothetically: you know how on cop shows there's always the good cop and the bad cop during interrogations? Well, could it be possible that a policeman with a split personality disorder could be both of these at the same time and could alternate between the personas at will? Also, would this be a good idea for a sitcom/crime show?

    It's already been done on the animation "Lego Movie". I think the character's name was good-cop-bad-cop. Just noticed that this post was created before the movie was made, you should sue.

    Yeh bad good grills crim, no luck. Tells crim his partners gonna talk to him, then he walks out an comes back in as bad cop... 2 cops.. 1 dude. 1 Very confused crim!

    Actually, now that I thought about it, I think it would be way funnier if the two personalities would switch at random.
